I just received my dumbbells today 2/2/18. They arrived in 4 days as opposed to the 6-7 day estimation. They were very easy to “assemble”. Sliding the weight plates into the base (they stack and connect by sliding one into another) and then the handle. After that you are ready to roll. The dumbbells themselves are solid and should last for a very long time. All in all I feel that it was a fantastic buy.

Five stars so far. The amount of space these save over a 2.3 to 22.6kg set of dumbbells is huge, and the cost savings is also huge. I also really like the grips which are ergonomic and grippy but firm. The mechanism works quite well so far. I also like that these are not as long as some similar dumbbells. In terms of downsides, I can see how dropping one of these would probably not do it any good as some reviewers have said. Also, it is true that when you crank it up to above 18kg, the dumbbell tends to stick in the cradle. My solution was to zip tie the cradles to milk crates. So, I’m quite content with these guys and I’m hoping for at least a few good years of use.

Over a year later and with 3 to 4 workouts a week these are holding up great. I even dropped one onto the hardwood from about 1 meter up when I got over extended on a fly and it suffered no damage. They’l probably last longer than I will.

Assembling both dumbells took me 3 minutes. Super easy. Being able to switch out the weights with an easy twist of the grip is fantastic. Feels pretty solid.

Pretty much what I needed for my home gym. Wanted to put them through a couple workouts before reviewing and I didn’t have any concern doing cleans or throwing them around. They don’t take up a ton of space space but still seem sturdy.
Super easy to assemble. No issues switching between weights at all – actually makes it really easy to superset. I have had adjustable dumbells in the past that were pretty clunky or a pain to change between weights – but no issues with these at all. Overall happy with the purchase.
